*Dependency / Addiction/ Unwanted Habit is a learned behaviour, a habit, and as such it can be broken or replaced with a healthier habit. You may be dependent on or addicted to smoking, excessive drinking, or drug substances. Or you may bite your nails, snack on junk foods or pick on skin/ scabs. The underlying issue is often low self-esteem and trying to find a way to feel better about yourself.
During the treatment you can reconnect with your own inner strength, and find resources to stop the addictive behaviour you no longer wish to associate yourself with. You can find another way to feel good about yourself, and a way to stop the dependency or addiction.
